Donate a Vehicle in Québec – Step 1

Thank you for choosing to send your car to Car Heaven! You've made the right choice for your old vehicle.

By sending your car to Car Heaven you:

• are ensuring that your vehicle will be responsibly recycled. All the hazardous components will be removed and diverted from the landfill, parts that can be reused will be salvaged, and the steel will be recycled, and
• will receive a charitable tax receipt from one of the affiliated charities of your choice

Follow these easy instructions to get the process started:

1. Complete the Car Heaven online donor form (or call 1-877-755-6272).
2. Complete the Application for Transfer section to "CAR HEAVEN" on the vehicle portion of your Ownership Permit (Provincial Vehicle Registration). Enter the odometer reading and sign and date the form.
3. Mail the signed Application for Transfer portion of your Ownership to:
   Car Heaven
   c/o Ontario Automotive Recyclers Association
   1447 Upper Ottawa Street – Unit #1
   Hamilton, ON  L8W 3J6
4. Print the Car Heaven Thank You page at the end of the donor form to record your participation in the program.

What happens next?
After your Ownership has been received:

• Within the next two weeks a member of the Association des Recycleurs de Pièces d'Autos et de Camions will pick-up your old vehicle.
• Within the next three months you will receive your charitable tax receipt in the mail.

Please note:
Donated vehicles must be easily accessible for pick-up. Vehicles will not be picked up if parked in an underground parking garage or alley. Please call the Car Heaven Call Centre at 1-877-755-6272 if you are unsure that your vehicle can be accessed.

All liens (parking tickets, etc.) must be paid off before donation of your vehicle.

Free tows apply to vehicles within certain geographic areas. Please call the Car Heaven Call Centre at 1-877-755-6272 to confirm pick-up is possible.

*Partnering charities remit an administration fee to Car Heaven for donations received, which supports the program delivery infrastructure.
